Euskadi

or Euskadi or Pais Vasco or Vasque Country or Baskenland was shorter as I thought. I wanted to have my last work there and then fly back from Bilbao. But my host cancelled my stay 4 days before it would have begun.

Santander

But from beginning. I left the Territorio Nomada and drove by bus to Santander for a few hours. And the only thing I made there was searching the beach, haha! 5 hours later I took another bus to Bilbao to meet there Sophie who I met weeks ago in Madrid. Now she was my CS-host.

Guggenheim

I spend 5 days in Bilbao, going to the beach in Plentzia, visit the Guggenheim Museum, a Museum about vasque culture, one Erasmus meeting and so on!

Sophie and her friends also organized a wonderful trip to the countryside and it was my first time sitting in an old VW-bus ;) We have seen beautiful beaches, a great sunset and climbed one little hill!

During my stay in Bilbao my last helpx-host also cancelled my stay. He lived in a squat in the village Bergara and said the house is too damaged and he had to leave it. Now he is living in San Sebastian, but can't host anymore. I was so disappointed and thought about going home earlier. I didn't wanted to bother Sophie anymore (her room was so tiny) even when she said I can stay as long as it is necessary. I was confused and started to search other host in the vasque country on the spanish and french side of the Pyrenees and also in Catalonia. Fortunately a primary school teacher answered and I hadn't to fly earlier!

But before I started my last work I stayed 2 days in San Sebastian or the vasque name: Doností. I stayed with Isazkun, she grew up there. Taht was great, we went out for dinner, and she could tell me a lot about their language and Doností. The second night I also met the guy who cancelled my helpx work and his cute dog. We all three tried to cook something in Isazkun kitchen. The next day (4th May) I left toward my next work...
